Auction Sale Policies The following information applies only to sales made via an auction sale. These policies apply to all auction sales and they are linked from each auction ad. Terms in an auction ad supercede this policy and if there is a conflict. We contact all successful bidders within one (1) business day of the auction close giving complete payment details, if you have not received a notice please contact us immediately stating that you have not received an e-mail. We find that filters often prevent legitimate e-mail from going through. Payment must be received within 10 days of the auction close. Payments can be made via Paypal (there is an appropriate link on our auction ads) or sent to us at: 1bike, Inc. Payments over $25 must be made by Paypal or certified funds (i.e. Money Order, Casheirs Check). Personal checks (under $25 only) may be held until they clear). We reserve the right to reject payments that are not made in accordance to this policy. We send an email upon receipt of payment. Shipping Amounts are clearly stated in the ads and are not negotiable, if you are not prepared to pay the stated shipping do not bid. This shipping is for the lower 48 United States only. We will ship to Hawaii, Alaska and the US territories provided that the winning bidder has arranged this prior to bidding. We will be happy to quote actual shipping charges. We do not ship COD (cash on delivery). We do not ship freight prepaid (i.e. shipment that is billed to a customers Fed Ex account). We ship USPS or Fedex Ground at our discretion only. If you would like to know how we intend to ship prior to bidding, we would be happy to answer the question. International Shipping: We charge $10 (US) plus the actual cost of shipping. International bidders must get permission for each auction before bidding. There are some items that we will not ship internationally. We reserve the right to refuse international shipment on any bidder that has not received approval prior to bidding. You may estimate costs via UPS or USPS. Pick ups: We allow pick ups at our warehouse Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-6:00 PM with an appointment only. We do not charge shipping and handling on items that are picked up. Insurance: We self insure all US shipments. There is no need to pay additional costs for insurance. DOA Policy: DOA (dead on arrival) describes components that arrive in non-working condition or items that are not as described. 1bike warrants our products to be non-DOA unless specifically sold “as is”. If you receive a product that does not work as it should, it must be returned to us within 14 days of your receipt of item. Items that are shipped via USPS (postal) will be considered received 5 days after shipment. Under no conditions will we extend this warranty. The date of the postmark or Carrier receipt will be considered the date of return. Products returned after this warranty date will not be exchanged or refunded, and will only be returned if the customer pays for the shipping. Returned items will be tested. Items that are verified DOA will be refunded or replaced depending on availability (and customer preference). Refund for DOA items will include a refund of the original shipping cost. (sorry we do not reimburse return shipping). Items that are tested and shown to be non-DOA will be refunded the original total cost less 10% (of the total) and less the original shipping and handling costs. All returned items must be packaged as they were received. Mistakes in shipping: If a mistake was made in processing your order it will be exchanged for the correct item. Damage in shipping: If the buyer receives a damaged product, it is his/her sole responsibility to file a damage claim with the shipper. We will not issue a refund to a damaged product where a claim has not been filed. This must be done within 5 business days of receipt of item. Returns: Auction sales are final! There are only two valid reasons for an auction return, one is a DOA product the other is that the product does not match the auction. In either case it must be returned within 14 days of receipt. There are no exceptions to this. Feedback: Feedback is an important part of eBay. We leave positive feedback for smooth transactions. Our feedback is submitted in batches approximately one week after shipment. Feedback signals the end of the transaction. Please consider that serious eBayer’s take feedback very seriously and feedback is non retractable. Flame Policy: A flame is an email that is hostile or offensive. We do not under any circumstances accept offensive email. We consider this to include (but not limited to) the use of profanity, accusations of intentional fraud, threats of any kind, and name calling. Upon receipt of this type of email a warning will be issued. Successive flames will be ignored and all warranties voided. It is our belief that all people are to be dealt with respectfully. Complaints: Complaints can be sent to info3@1bike.com . We will respond to all complaints within 2 business days. Please keep in mind that we expect customers to abide by our flame policy regardless of the issue. An ebay auction is legal and binding. Failure to complete an auction per the terms will impact your ability to bid on future items. We have over a 99% positive rating on ebay. We have this rating because we are able to communicate effectively and provide items as they are described in our ads. If you have a problem, contact us. We respond to all e-mail that requires a response (within one business day). If you have sent more than one e-mail without response most likely you have a filter (or your internet provider has a filter) preventing receipt of our e-mail, send another telling us you have not received a reply and we will respond on an alternate e-mail address. Regardless of the problem we will try to work with you. |
